The Role
The Warehouse Technician keeps parts moving accurately and safely across our locations. You'll be the hands-on owner of staging, shipping, receiving, and inventory — making sure the right parts get to the right place so our teams can do their work without interruption.
What you'll do
- Stage, ship, and receive parts, equipment, and supplies.- Stock parts stores and maintain appropriate inventory levels.- Own inventory control: determine stocking levels, identify and dispose of excess and obsolete inventory, and keep system records accurate.- Enter and update inventory in our software system; ensure accurate part numbers, quantities, and data fields for all receipts and location records.- Receive material into inventory, move it between designated locations, and pick/locate material to and from warehouse locations as needed.- Resolve discrepancies in material quantities and part numbers.- Manage and optimize bin locations.- Handle will-call orders.- Deliver parts to customer locations, job sites, or other parts stores as needed.- Operate assigned material handling equipment safely; inspect equipment before use and report any accidents or unsafe conditions to your supervisor.- Reinforce a culture of safety and complete required safety training, certifications, and testing.- Flexibility to work overtime, weekends, and on-call shifts as required.
About you
- Good interpersonal and communication skills — you can read instructions and catch differences between part numbers and quantities.- Solid basic math skills, including working with units of money, weight, and volume.- Able to apply common sense to carry out detailed written or oral instructions and handle concrete problems in standardized situations.- Valid Driver's License required.
