Key Responsibilities
- Turn-Key Delivery: Own the install, commissioning, and troubleshooting of DDC systems. Deliver full software solutions, including sequencing, graphics, and alarms.
- Technical Leadership: Act as the lead resource and mentor for junior techs. Serve as a trusted advisor to customers, ensuring predictable, high-quality outcomes.
- Risk & Coordination: Partner with Project Managers to manage risk and align execution. Coordinate with teams to ensure clear communication and reliable delivery.
- Travel & Flexibility: Travel as needed and stay adaptable to shifting priorities, project demands, and field workloads.
- Proficiency & Growth: Demonstrate deep proficiency with ALC products, system architectures, and ASHRAE guidelines. Apply this expertise to deliver safe, high-performance systems across complex customer environments.
- Project Integrity: Maintain expert-level documentation, including commissioning logs and progress tracking, to ensure safe and compliant system delivery.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- 4+ years of hands-on experience in the Building Automation or HVAC Controls industry
- Must possess a valid, current Driver’s License and be insurable by the company’s insurance carrier
- Ability to lift items up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks such as squatting and climbing for extended periods
- Capable of working over 8 feet above grade and proficient in the use of ladders and motorized lift equipment

- On-Call Availability: Potential for 4+ hours of scheduled on-call support per month
- Leadership & Mentorship: Proven ability to act as a technical authority and mentor junior engineers in a collaborative field environment.
- Complex Project Delivery: Executes turnkey building automation solutions with minimal oversight, focusing on high-quality field execution and resource management.
- Advanced Integration & Networking: High skills-level proficiency in integrating diverse platforms and managing complex TCP/IP and wireless networking.
- System Troubleshooting: Advanced diagnostic skills for resolving high-level technical challenges in controls, sensors, and software, at the equipment and system level.
- Training & Communication: Dedicated to delivering site-specific technical training to building owners and operators while maintaining clear documentation.
